Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Italian saint Mark'S Square by Emma Ciardi. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,355.67) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emma Ciardi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Grand Fête On The Grand Canal in December 2003 with an auction result of GBP 53,775.00 (€ 76,165.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian saint Mark'S Square von Emma Ciardi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.355,67) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emma Ciardi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Grand Fête On The Grand Canal im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 53.775,00 (€ 76.165,24).
