Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September last year Phillips in an online auction held the auction INTERSECT: Online Auction, which included the work Chekhov's Gun by Emily Mae Smith. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 13,860.00 (€ 1,803.51), 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emily Mae Smith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Broom Life in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 12,350,000.00 (€ 1,341,530.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion INTERSECT: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chekhov's Gun von Emily Mae Smith zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 13.860,00 (€ 1.803,51) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emily Mae Smith erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Broom Life im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.350.000,00 (€ 1.341.530,22).
