Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction 20th Century British & Irish Art, which included the work Flowers In A Tankard by Emily Beatrice Bland. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,958.81) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Emily Beatrice Bland have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2000 the work Porchester Harbour was auctioned for GBP 1,840.00 (€ 3,060.00).

Im Juni 2007 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion 20th Century British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers In A Tankard von Emily Beatrice Bland zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.320,00 (€ 1.958,81) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Emily Beatrice Bland konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2000 die Arbeit Porchester Harbour für GBP 1.840,00 (€ 3.060,00) versteigert.
