Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Emilio Scanavino by Emilio Scanavino. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 5,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Scanavino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work IL TRIONFO DELLA MORTE in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 140,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Emilio Scanavino von Emilio Scanavino zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 5.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilio Scanavino erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit IL TRIONFO DELLA MORTE im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 140.000,00.
