Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Emilio Longoni could be acquired at Il Ponte in November 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Monte Airolo. Salita presso Lago di Mortirolo changed hands for EUR 8,500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Longoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alba in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 336,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Emilio Longoni konnte im November 2016 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures wechselte die Arbeit Monte Airolo. Salita presso Lago di Mortirolo für EUR 8.500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilio Longoni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alba im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 336.750,00.
