Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Cime innevate by Emilio Longoni was auctioned at Il Ponte in May 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 2,200.00 – 2,400.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Longoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alba in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 336,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Cime innevate von Emilio Longoni im Mai 2017 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.200,00 – 2.400,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 2.000,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilio Longoni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alba im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 336.750,00.
