Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Christies in London held the auction British & European Art: European Art, which included the work Landscape in Valtellina by Emilio Longoni. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,193.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Longoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alba in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 336,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion British & European Art: European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape in Valtellina von Emilio Longoni zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.193,17) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilio Longoni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alba im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 336.750,00.
