Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Italian the Spluga Pass, In The Alps by Emilio Longoni was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in December 2016. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 60,000.00 (€ 70,149.73), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Emilio Longoni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alba in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 336,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Italian the Spluga Pass, In The Alps von Emilio Longoni wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 70.149,73) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emilio Longoni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alba im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 336.750,00.
