Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calendario by Emilio Chapela was sold in the Latin America auction at Phillips in New York in May 2014. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,331.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Emilio Chapela have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2014 the work Biblioteca Roland Barthes (Librero J) was auctioned for USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,039.88).
