In March this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Paintings, furniture and varia, which included the work Coastal scenery with a woman and a child in the dunes by Emilie Mundt. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 20,000.00 (€ 2,683.96), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emilie Mundt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work To drenge på stranden i Skagen, which sold at auction in October this year for DKK 50,000.00 (€ 6,699.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Coastal scenery with a woman and a child in the dunes von Emilie Mundt zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 20.000,00 (€ 2.683,96) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Emilie Mundt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit To drenge på stranden i Skagen beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für DKK 50.000,00 (€ 6.699,47) versteigert wurde.
