The auction ended at the price of DKK 4,000.00 (€ 536.28), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilie Mundt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work To drenge på stranden i Skagen in October this year with an auction result of DKK 50,000.00 (€ 6,699.47).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 4.000,00 (€ 536,28) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilie Mundt erzielen.
