Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2008 Christies in London held the auction Nineteenth Century European Art, which included the work Family time by Emil Rau. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 7,037.85). Other works by Emil Rau have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,422.61) in January 2008 for the work Inside A Bavarian Tavern.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Nineteenth Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Family time von Emil Rau zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 7.037,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Emil Rau haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.422,61) im Januar 2008 für die Arbeit Inside A Bavarian Tavern beobachtet.
