The work Joy of Life by Émile Fuchs was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in August last year. It achieved a price of USD 2,040.00 (€ 2,026.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Émile Fuchs - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work King Edward VII, which sold at auction in October 2021 for USD 5,292.00 (€ 4,581.02).

Die Arbeit Joy of Life von Émile Fuchs kam im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.040,00 (€ 2.026,83) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Für andere Arbeiten von Émile Fuchs mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit King Edward VII beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für USD 5.292,00 (€ 4.581,02) versteigert wurde.
