Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life by Elliott Seabrooke was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in March 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,885.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Elliott Seabrooke have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2005 the work Breakwaters Along The Beach was auctioned for GBP 3,120.00 (€ 4,583.67).

Die Arbeit Still Life von Elliott Seabrooke kam im März 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.640,00 (€ 3.885,78) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Elliott Seabrooke konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2005 die Arbeit Breakwaters Along The Beach für GBP 3.120,00 (€ 4.583,67) versteigert.
