Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2005 Christies in Melbourne held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included the work Low Tide by Elliott Seabrooke. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 3,824.00 (€ 2,318.85). Other works by Elliott Seabrooke have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 3,120.00 (€ 4,583.67) in November 2005 for the work Breakwaters Along The Beach.

Im April 2005 führte Christies in Melbourne die Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Low Tide von Elliott Seabrooke zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 3.824,00 (€ 2.318,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Elliott Seabrooke haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.120,00 (€ 4.583,67) im November 2005 für die Arbeit Breakwaters Along The Beach beobachtet.
