This artwork by Ella Bergmann-Michel achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March last year. In the (Women) Artists auction, the work Sans titre (301) sold for GBP 22,680.00 (€ 26,889.69) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ella Bergmann-Michel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spektralfall: B234, which sold at auction in September 2017 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 58,198.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 89 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ella Bergmann-Michel erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion (Women) Artists wurde die Arbeit Sans titre (301) für GBP 22.680,00 (€ 26.889,69) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ella Bergmann-Michel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spektralfall: B234 beobachtet, die im September 2017 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 58.198,59) versteigert wurde.
