A top price for Elizabeth Whitehead - as previously expected
In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints, which included the work Variegated dahlias in a glass vase, on a table by Elizabeth Whitehead. The price achieved of GBP 420.00 (€ 618.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Variegated dahlias in a glass vase, on a table is the most expensive artwork by Elizabeth Whitehead that we have observed at auctions so far.
