Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,933.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elizabeth Adela Stanhope Forbes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work April in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 142,400.00 (€ 211,339.43).
