Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rue De Poissy by Élisée Maclet was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in October 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,525.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Élisée Maclet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chartres. La cathedrale et la basse ville in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 20,400.00 (€ 15,163.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rue De Poissy von Élisée Maclet kam im Oktober 2018 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.525,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Élisée Maclet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chartres. La cathedrale et la basse ville im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.400,00 (€ 15.163,90).
