Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Elisabeth von Eicken could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in March this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Rocky coastal scene changed hands for DKK 4,800.00 (€ 644.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elisabeth von Eicken achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Winter Landscape in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,856.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Elisabeth von Eicken konnte im März diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Rocky coastal scene für DKK 4.800,00 (€ 644,15) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elisabeth von Eicken erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Winter Landscape im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.856,49).
