Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Monterey: Armchairs by Elisa Sighicelli was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2001. It achieved a price of GBP 4,112.50 (€ 6,646.40), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Admittedly, works by Elisa Sighicelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Iceland: Bathroom in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,019.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Monterey: Armchairs von Elisa Sighicelli kam im Oktober 2001 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.112,50 (€ 6.646,40) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elisa Sighicelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Iceland: Bathroom im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.019,16).
