Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eran And I by Elinor Carucci was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2018. The price achieved of GBP 688.00 (€ 783.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Elinor Carucci - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bath, From The Mother Series, which sold at auction in December 2014 for USD 3,438.00 (€ 2,841.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Eran And I von Elinor Carucci kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 688,00 (€ 783,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Elinor Carucci mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bath, From The Mother Series beobachtet, die im Dezember 2014 für USD 3.438,00 (€ 2.841,09) versteigert wurde.
