This artwork by Elias van den Broeck achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2010. In the Old Masters and 19th Century Art auction, the work Parrot tulips, poppies, roses, morning glory, narcissi and other flowers in a glass vase, with acorns and a snail on a stone ledge sold for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 36,071.62) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Elias van den Broeck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blumenstilleben. in April 2011 with an auction result of CHF 228,000.00 (€ 177,511.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Elias van den Broeck erzielte im Juli 2010 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art wurde die Arbeit Parrot tulips, poppies, roses, morning glory, narcissi and other flowers in a glass vase, with acorns and a snail on a stone ledge für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 36.071,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elias van den Broeck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blumenstilleben. im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 228.000,00 (€ 177.511,10).
