Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled – 2013 by eL Seed was auctioned at Artcurial in Marrakech in December 2020. It changed hands for a price of MAD 130,000.00 (€ 11,373.67) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of MAD 88,000.00 – 132,000.00. Admittedly, works by eL Seed have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 48,259.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled – 2013 von eL Seed kam im Dezember 2020 bei Artcurial in Marrakesch zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von MAD 130.000,00 (€ 11.373,67) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von MAD 88.000,00 – 132.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von eL Seed auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 48.259,80).
