Auction result misses estimated price range
In February this year a collector was able to acquire the work Magnolias by Ejnar Hansen for USD 357.00 (€ 336.73). This price was achieved in the auction Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ejnar Hansen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Avalon Bay, which sold at auction in February this year for USD 1,402.50 (€ 1,322.86).

Im Februar diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Magnolias von Ejnar Hansen für USD 357,00 (€ 336,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ejnar Hansen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Avalon Bay beobachtet, die im Februar diesen Jahres für USD 1.402,50 (€ 1.322,86) versteigert wurde.
