for New York from the Arts ouncil of Ireland. She received he Art and Work Award for her sculptures at 99 Bishopsgate rom the Wapping Arts Trust, and in 1998 she won a oyal Society of Arts Award. She has represented Ireland t the Paris Biennale in 1982 and the Sao Paolo Biennale n 1985. She exhibited her work on the terraces of E1027 nd in the Parc du Centenaire in Roquebrune Cap Martin n 2018.

Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Threefold - 2010 by Eilís O'Connell was auctioned at Artcurial in June 2019, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eilís O'Connell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bounce in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,610.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Threefold - 2010 von Eilís O'Connell im Juni 2019 bei Artcurial versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eilís O'Connell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bounce im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.610,16).
