Despite a disappointment, a good price for Eilís O'Connell
This work of art by Eilís O'Connell could be acquired at Sothebys in London in October 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Irish Art auction, the work Bounce changed hands for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,610.16) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Bounce is the most expensive artwork by Eilís O'Connell that we have observed at auction so far.
