Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2019 Artcurial held the auction Eileen Gray & the Villa E-1027, which included the work Unique Photographie by Eileen Gray. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 600.00 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eileen Gray achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work PANNEAU ‘AUM MANE PADME AUM' (SALUT A TOI, O JOYAU DANS LE LOTUS), VERS 1912 in December 2019 with an auction result of EUR 310,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2019 führte Artcurial die Auktion Eileen Gray & the Villa E-1027 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unique Photographie von Eileen Gray zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 600,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eileen Gray erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit PANNEAU ‘AUM MANE PADME AUM' (SALUT A TOI, O JOYAU DANS LE LOTUS), VERS 1912 im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 310.000,00.
