This artwork by Eileen Gray achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in June 2019. In the Eileen Gray & the Villa E-1027 auction, the work Papier À Entête « Désert Et Gray 11, Rue Guénégaud » sold for EUR 350.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eileen Gray achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work PANNEAU ‘AUM MANE PADME AUM' (SALUT A TOI, O JOYAU DANS LE LOTUS), VERS 1912 in December 2019 with an auction result of EUR 310,000.00.

In der Auktion Eileen Gray & the Villa E-1027 wurde die Arbeit Papier À Entête « Désert Et Gray 11, Rue Guénégaud » für EUR 350,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eileen Gray erzielen.
