Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included the work Standing figure, april 1937 by Egon Mathiesen. Here, the upper estimate of DKK 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for DKK 32,000.00 (€ 4,292.75). Other works by Egon Mathiesen have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of DKK 38,000.00 (€ 5,099.52) in March this year for the work “Sol og ungdom” (Sun and youth), 1957.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Standing figure, april 1937 von Egon Mathiesen zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von DKK 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für DKK 32.000,00 (€ 4.292,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Egon Mathiesen haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von DKK 38.000,00 (€ 5.099,52) im März diesen Jahres für die Arbeit “Sol og ungdom” (Sun and youth), 1957 beobachtet.
