In May 2019 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work Market scene by Eerik Haamer. The result of SEK 20,000.00 (€ 1,885.37) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eerik Haamer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Veesuusatajad I", which sold at auction in May 2011 for EUR 4,200.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2019 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Market scene von Eerik Haamer zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 20.000,00 (€ 1.885,37) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Eerik Haamer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Veesuusatajad I" beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für EUR 4.200,00 versteigert wurde.
