Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Huntsmen on the heath by Edzard Koning. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 836.50 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Edzard Koning have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Onder moeder's paraplu in January 2001 with an auction result of NLG 8,812.50 (€ 3,856.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Huntsmen on the heath von Edzard Koning zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 836,50 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edzard Koning auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Onder moeder's paraplu im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 8.812,50 (€ 3.856,18).
