Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Chase by Edwin M. Fox was auctioned at Christies in New York in February 2015. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,232.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edwin M. Fox have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mr. E. Swinnerton's Prize Bull Monk in January 2002 with an auction result of USD 14,100.00 (€ 16,406.80).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edwin M. Fox auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mr. E.
