This artwork by Edwin Hayes achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2019. In the The Ross Collection From Knockmore, Enniskerry, Wicklow, Part II auction, the work A fishing boat off Dalkey, Ireland sold for GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,761.37) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edwin Hayes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Irish Dutch Boats Off Dover in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 27,400.00 (€ 18,654.68).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Edwin Hayes erzielte im November 2019 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Ross Collection From Knockmore, Enniskerry, Wicklow, Part II wurde die Arbeit A fishing boat off Dalkey, Ireland für GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.761,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edwin Hayes erzielen.
