In October 2001 Christies in London held the auction British And Continental Watercolours And Drawings, which included the work Sheep grazing on the banks of a river; and A river flowing through a mountainous landscape by Edward Tucker. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 470.00 (€ 759.59), 34% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edward Tucker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View of a harbour, which sold at auction in September 2002 for GBP 998.75 (€ 1,587.24).

Im Oktober 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion British And Continental Watercolours And Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sheep grazing on the banks of a river; and A river flowing through a mountainous landscape von Edward Tucker zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 470,00 (€ 759,59) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Edward Tucker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View of a harbour beobachtet, die im September 2002 für GBP 998,75 (€ 1.587,24) versteigert wurde.
