A top price for Edward Thomson - as previously expected

The price achieved of AUD 12,300.00 (€ 10,897.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Woods and Kellys Claim, Iron Bark Quarts Reef, c.1860 is the most expensive artwork by Edward Thomson that we have observed at auctions so far.
