This artwork by Edward Quinn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2012. In the Picasso Ceramics The Madoura Collection auction, the work Untitled, circa 1965 sold for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,608.48) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Edward Quinn; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled, 1965 sold at auction in June 2012 with the realized price of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,121.37).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Edward Quinn erzielte im Juni 2012 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Picasso Ceramics The Madoura Collection wurde die Arbeit Untitled, circa 1965 für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.608,48) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Edward Quinn; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Untitled, 1965 im Juni 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.121,37).
