The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,506.63), 43% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edward Quinn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled, 1965, which sold at auction in June 2012 for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,121.37).
