In June 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work George Washington Dancing the Minuet with Nellie Curtis in his Mt. Vernon Home Feb. 22nd 1777 by Edward Percy Moran. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,559.52), 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Edward Percy Moran have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wildflower Field in Bloom in March 2004 with an auction result of USD 19,120.00 (€ 15,554.83).

Im Juni 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit George Washington Dancing the Minuet with Nellie Curtis in his Mt. Vernon Home Feb. 22nd 1777 von Edward Percy Moran zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.559,52) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edward Percy Moran auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wildflower Field in Bloom im März 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 19.120,00 (€ 15.554,83).
