The price achieved of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,607.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edward Nash have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Mooda Maji Of Coorg in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 16,100.00 (€ 20,525.22).
