A large miniature of Lady Suffield standing full length on a before a stone column holding a child in her arms; she, in white silk dress with lace collar and cuffs, her dark hair plaited and upswept, the young child holding the gold and ruby pendant suspended from a black ribbon around their mother's neck, in lace dress with blue and white tartan sash tied in a large bow, their right foot barefoot and white sock and black shoe on their left foot; plants in stone containers, foliage and landscape background

The work A large miniature of Lady Suffield standing full length on a before a stone column holding a child in her arms; she, in white silk dress with lace collar and cuffs, her dark hair plaited and upswept, the young child holding the gold and ruby pendant by Eduardo Lobo Moira was sold in the Important Gold Boxes,Objects of Vertu & Portrait Miniatures auction at Christies in London in December 2003. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 896.25 (€ 1,269.42). Admittedly, works by Eduardo Lobo Moira have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unknown in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 8,988.80).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 896,25 (€ 1.269,42) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduardo Lobo Moira auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unknown im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 8.988,80).
