Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Still life with peonies and a glass of wine by Edward Ladell was sold in the British Art: Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art auction at Christies in London in December 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,875.00 (€ 19,944.27). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edward Ladell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With A Blue And White Vase, Peaches And Grapes; Still Life With A Bird'S Nest, Fruit And A Silver Tazza, which sold at auction in December 2006 for GBP 42,000.00 (€ 62,333.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Still life with peonies and a glass of wine von Edward Ladell wurde im Dezember 2019 in der Auktion British Art: Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 16.875,00 (€ 19.944,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Edward Ladell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life With A Blue And White Vase, Peaches And Grapes; Still Life With A Bird'S Nest, Fruit And A Silver Tazza beobachtet, die im Dezember 2006 für GBP 42.000,00 (€ 62.333,26) versteigert wurde.
