Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still life of a pheasant, a wine glass and fruit by Edward Ladell was auctioned at Bonhams in London in March last year. The price achieved of GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,779.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Ladell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With A Blue And White Vase, Peaches And Grapes; Still Life With A Bird'S Nest, Fruit And A Silver Tazza in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 42,000.00 (€ 62,333.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still life of a pheasant, a wine glass and fruit von Edward Ladell kam im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.779,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward Ladell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With A Blue And White Vase, Peaches And Grapes; Still Life With A Bird'S Nest, Fruit And A Silver Tazza im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 42.000,00 (€ 62.333,26).
