Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Robin Hood's Bay; and Heading out to sea by Edward King Redmore for GBP 352.50 (€ 459.28). This price was achieved in the auction At Home - British and Continental Pictures & Works on Paper at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Edward King Redmore have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shipping in the Channel in July 2007 with an auction result of USD 3,120.00 (€ 2,275.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
