Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mystery of the Anasazi by Edward Fraughton was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,351.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Edward Fraughton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Last Arrow in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,140.35).
