A top price for Edward Emerson Simmons - as previously expected
In October 2018 Christies in New York held the auction European Art: Part II, which included the work Le printemps by Edward Emerson Simmons. The price achieved of USD 87,500.00 (€ 77,214.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Le printemps is the most expensive artwork by Edward Emerson Simmons that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion European Art: Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le printemps von Edward Emerson Simmons zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 77.214,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden.
