Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,790.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edward Duncan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tantallon Castle, Coast of Haddingtonshire in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 15,275.00 (€ 26,109.34).
