Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Edward Dugmore was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in July 2010. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,591.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Dugmore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue-Black in June 2008 with an auction result of USD 116,500.00 (€ 73,977.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Edward Dugmore wurde im Juli 2010 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.591,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward Dugmore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue-Black im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 116.500,00 (€ 73.977,65).
