The price achieved of GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,494.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edward Armfield - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Terriers Ratting; And Terriers With A Fox And Pheasant, which sold at auction in June 2005 for GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,224.67).
