This work of art by Edward Allington could be acquired at Christies in London in May 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Things Unsaid III; Between The Horns of The Snail No.2; And The Horn And A Sythe changed hands for GBP 600.00 (€ 875.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by Edward Allington have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2006 by the work Horn And Sickle at GBP 780.00 (€ 1,138.55).
